SOP for ROE Web Client Authorization

Record of employment on the web (ROE Web) is a secure portal that allows employers to create and submit records of employment (ROE) online for their employees.

Procedure:

 

Step 1: Obtain Authorization

Provide the client with a fillable ROE Web Client Employer Consent Form.

Save the signed consent form in the Client’s Authorization folder in the event that documentation is requested by Service Canada.

Form must be signed by the primary officer for the Client’s ROE account

 

Step 2: Login to ROE Web

Login to the ROE Web Portal

Select the organization, Payroll Solutions International Inc.

 

Step 3: Add Client Account

Under the Manage Organization section, select Manage CRA Businesses

Scroll to the bottom of the webpage and click on Add CRA Business

Enter the Client’s information in the required fields.

For the question, Do you have at least one employee where the above applies?(required), select Yes

Once the information has been entered, click Save at the bottom of the screen.

If the Client is registered for ROE Web, a pop up will appear stating the business number is already registered and to submit your request for review. Click Submit for review.

 

Step 4: Confirm Account Access

You will be brought back to the Manager CRA Businesses page.

In the Filter Items field, enter the business name of the Client.

The Status column will appear in the Approved stage if access has been granted.

If the request has been submitted for review, the Status column should appear in the Pending Approval.

An email notification will be sent to the Primary Officer on the Client’s account to review and approve access. Once the request has been approved, the Status column will appear as Active.

An email notification will be sent to the Primary Officer of PSII’s account once access has been granted.
